This isn't my event, but saw the flyer yesterday. Looks like a fun deal.
Springs East (CO4) is 8NM SE of Meadowlake (KFLY) and 14NM E of Colorado Springs. Parallel N-S runways (17-35). The E parallel runway is dirt, but in pretty OK condition. The E-W runway (8-26) is charted as "poor" condition but is actually pretty nice. Look out for pronghorn sleeping in the middle. The plan is to use the dirt 17-35.
Sheldon is organizing. He is working on food trucks, tents, shade, etc. Call him to register.
