Removeable Crossbar for a Cub

If your experimental the options are endless. I tryed to think up the simplest way possible to do the crossbar without welding or bolting anything.
1" aluminum tubing with .125 wall, weight 15oz. ( 24" piece)
Milled out one side, cut out the original .710 cross tube,( weight 8oz)leaving 1.75" stubs. Installed new tube with two 1/4" SS /QD pins. Net weight gain 7 oz. Dogleg welded in backasswards by the former rebuilder!!! Oh well.

That is true Mike, good call ! Just looks unusual to me, from years of having them the other way. The baggage in this one, is 66" from back of seat bottom. Lots of room for stuff.
