2020 Hunting and Fishing and Outdoors

This is a Husqvarna (Swedish) company model 456 Mannlicher in 3006. The 458 is the high comb stock. I had a .270 Husky once and sold it which I regret. It shot tighter groups. Full length wood stocks probably not the best for accuracy or getting wet but my shots are not very far in the big Minnesota woods. Tradewinds was a company that imported these back in the 50-60's probably. Action is a Mauser 98 with controlled round feeding. They are quality.

Found this guy last week in Colorado. Spent a LONG time building preference points and figured I better go while I can. Neat rut hunt, but something colder than 60 degrees at 9,000 feet would’ve been welcome.

We were lucky in our timing and hit the vanguard of the crane migration in Delta, Alaska this September. No travel this fall for annual pheasant hunt so this was it for birds this year.

Kyle;
Really nice mule deer- Congrats!
Cheers;
Bob

Upper Red Lake has between 3-7" ice so a few thousand fishermen showed up despite the open water and cracks. I liked the warmth and safety of the Scout.

I took to the sky on Friday and saw portable fish houses out. Looked quite scetchy to me. Open water and visible thin ice in many areas. Saw another wolf on my runway also. I've seen 3 nice wolves on my property in the past week.

Extreme SouthWest Utah, Friday after Thanksgiving; first ever bird hunt for 6 of them in this picture. Image1606774414.465517.jpg

My dad dropped a friend and I off for a moose hunt this year, it had been almost 10 years since I’d been moose hunting. We didn’t get anything, but it was so good to be back out in God’s country. I also took my father-in-law’s rifle, and the last person to get a moose with it was my brother-in-law who passed away a few years ago. I spent a lot of time thinking about him, even in a year like 2020 there is so much to be thankful for. I can’t wait to get out next fall!

I've seen 3 of these guys in the past week during deer season. This is only a couple hundred yards from my house.

Just guessing Keith since there was no picture, maybe the Bigfoot family slipped out of the park?

Well crap...it was there when I hit reply. It's a wolf. I'll try to attach the picture when I get out of the woods tonight.

Your wolf photo was there yesterday when I looked. Gone now, but then again, wolves are like that.....

Bull moose that I flew back for a member of our moose camp.

Hunted antelope just west of the gorge. Had never been in that area before. Pretty neat country.

Sandhill Crane Hunt

Sandhills have invaded the Texas Panhandle. Good group of guys if you are looking for a guided hunt.
