After installing the elevator and rudder gap seals, aircraft has 2 degrees more nose up pitch authority at the stall and landing. I'm pleased. But.... Been hearing a lot of noise, aircraft sounded like a rattletrap! I found the flap cable was loose, slapping against the STC aluminum headliner in the back. I tightened the slack out of the cable, then with a moto tool adjusted the "notches" in the flap lever stop to meet the TCDS specifications, no more "rattletrap" noise. Also after 10 hours SMOH, dyno balanced the propeller, was .12 ips; now .04 ips, much smoother and quieter! No whitecaps on the compass fluid!
