Lockheed 60

Lars, During the 1980s there was one of these at Lake Hood. As I recall it was red in color.

I flew one in Anchorage in the late 70’s. There was a broker named Al Lindemuth who ended up with one and we did some work on it and I got to fly it some. Big flat floor, big door and an overhead flap handle if I remember correctly. Coolest part to a young pilot was when I called the tower I used “Lockheed” in the call sign.
