I have a hard time believing anyone in the photo above is 87, or even approaching 87. Must be due to a lot of clean living!
 
Only "Daddy" would wind up in the middle of a picture surrounded by 17 beautiful women. Not sure even Scouter could top that. See you next summer, Captain Cub.
 
A couple of JC's ago I met Captain Cub, what a guy, judging from the picture he is still doing doing OK! Think about that shot, compare it to other large group pictures, every single person has a genuine huge grin, that says a lot for him, and I guess the photographer! Guys like him give us young guys hope.
