Window Question

We are rebuilding a 1957 PA-18A and am up to fitting the windows. Our other Supercub has a small Perspex cup in the upper door window that goes around the fuel drain in the right wing. I can’t pick it up in the parts book, can anyone help with a part number or source please?

cheers Bill

You can just put a rubber bumper on butt rib to hold door down from quick drain if it’s a semi flush drain.

That is not a Piper part that I have seen. I use the flush fuel drains and no issue hitting the flip up window.

Thanks Steve, must be a kiwi mod then as all the Cubs I have flown have it

Will do Steve, I’m in Chicago at the moment so will post one when I get home on Tuesday.

How about placing a spacer under the latch? When the door swings up and latches into place, it will be low enough to not bump the drain valve.
