anyone have any pictures of the inside of the fuselage using this tail support? just would like to see how it works is all.http://crosswindsstol.com/stc.html
thanks mike!!! i also see some triangle pieces welded to the cross tube supports. ive seen a little different idea there. first thing i thought when i seen this picture is a electric trim motor right at the bottom of the jackscrew, with a metal aft belly pan it would be easy to get at. never seen the jackscrew go all the way to the bottom like that. or maybe its a smooth tube its sliding on. looks like a zerc on it.
You might as well weld in some of the cross tubes that strengthen the tail like in the -12 GW increase. Possibly? Or plate to bolt extra lead in if that is ever needed.
