Is that O340 STC or did you go experimental?

Exp. The engine weighs less than an O-320. With the 3-blade Catto it really performs.

    Opinions, please.

    Am I asking too much?

I want everyone to know that it would never have been competed had it not been for Bill Rusk who introduced me to Jim Kidd, the Silver Lindy builder who did such an incredible job finishing the plane. I owe them both a deep debt of gratitude.

Jim is a brilliant aviation artist.

Paul, the plane looks awesome! So glad you got it finished. It reminds me of a Pa-18, only better. Some one is gonna get one hell of a bird.

Did you guys change the AOI at all?

Curious about the 3 blade catto as well. What length and pitch did you decide to go with and why? Static/Cruise Numbers?

    No change to AOI.

The propeller is a Catto 3-Bladed Glass/Carbon Composite Propeller for Exp PA12
    76" Diameter x45" Pitch, 0-340 180HP@2700RPM
    3.5" Finished Propeller Thickness
    7" Diameter Prop Flange
    SAE-2 Pattern, 3/8" Bolts and 5/8" Lugs
Nickel Leading Edge per edge per blade installed.
320 Cub Install Kit. Includes: 3/8"x5 1/2", crush plate 7"x 3/8"x 3/8" Thick and Belleville washer kit
Catto 12" Spinner Kit. Includes fitting of cutouts, tracking and drilling of mounting holes. Spinner with stationary self-centering front bulkhead and aluminum rear bulkhead.
    Primer or Carbon: Carbon
    Aircraft: Cub Type
    Blades: 3

The propeller was chosen upon recommendation by both Cubcrafters and Catto.

The photos don’t do justice to the artistry of Catto. The spinner is carbon fiber and the pattern of the fiber looks remarkable!!! The blades are works of art, too.

Catto will adjust the pitch once for free if someone decides they want a different pitch angle.
