Can you imagine all of the people driving cars around who can't read a map that will be lost when they disable GPS!

Use to try to pre-fold , That worked half the time.....The other half went outta the cockpit and through the prop!

I thought you just jam it back into your leather jacket and hope you have a good grip when you take it back out

My solution when ferrying a Stearman up and down the east coast was two identical sectionals for each area. No flipping over. I also ferried a WACO UBA a few times. That is a side by side open cockpit. Very civilized. One map was ok in that one.

The 2T1A Great Lakes was even harder because the cockpit is very cozy

I can just see the 100 car pileup in Pennsylvania after the Gps was shut off for a few hours.
