Nah - better to use hardened chain. Also helps if you are nose heavy. Use in toilet too, to make sure that never breaks.
 
Blew my chains and springs off years ago and haven't looked back. Back end pretty much follows the front.
 
I have broken springs, tailwheels, attachment bolts those silly clips, and the aluminum cast rudder arms. I have never, ever broken one of those toilet chain links.
