Original Piper Alloy for Fairings

Does anyone know what original alloy & thickness (Or its current equivalent) was used for the J3 "fuselage to wing" fairings?

Mine are original. They seem dead soft. I am guessing .016, like the leading edges. I have a micrometer in the hangar if it is important. The lower ones have 90 and 180 degree folds. 2024-0? From fuzzy memory, would that be 24-SO?

Most of the fairing drawings I’ve seen call for 3S material which would be 3003 today.
