    Cylinder walls

Im getting ready to tear down a o290 that is running pretty good at the moment but a quick boroscope on the cylinders shows what looks similar to mud cracks in the desert. Not really in one area, really the whole thing... I'm assuming this isn't normal and is maybe chrome cylinders with the chrome micro cracking. Just making sure. Trying to get an idea what all is going to be salvageable.

Like I said motor runs good, doesn't burn a lot of oil, compressions 65-70

Great, I considered that it may be normal but wanted to verify so I wasn't just talking myself into it being ok. Thanks
