T3 Tail Wheel Shock Approval

Looking at one of these for my cub. Are people able to get them approved on certified cubs?

Also, are people running the single or double shock models on standard cubs. I noticed Airframes states that a double shock is recommend for rough stuff or if you are heavy.

when i got one, i had talked to Dan D himself, told him what i had, how i wanted to use it. and how to set it up. He was great. never once made me feel like i was wasting his time.

Yes, but now my fsdo guy says he can’t do any field approvals. Or ferry permits.

Why wouldn’t a ferry permit be issued? Isn’t that standard item?

Can you post your approved 337? My FSDO is still doing field approvals.Your data might help others get theirs approved.
