SAE 50# felt

So looking things over and the drawing calls out for felt for -I believe as an anti rattle / noise /wear— for the interior panels. Looking at other builds I don’t see this on peoples aircraft. I am experimental and using kydex. Should I look at putting these on or omit them. Additionally if I should put these strips in I have lots of automotive trunk carpeting that I think would be better than using felt as it doesn’t hold water. An example is part # 10016-2.

if you want felt, go buy a horse blanket, they make one that is white and the real deal. I would not want the weight though. Tim

Great idea! I think I’m going to “omit” if I get rattles then I’ll be removing panels and “mitting”
