Type F1 Fuel Selector

Hi Folks , I've just become the owner of Cub Coupe G-AFGM & the Fuel Selector is leaking slightly ,is there a Maintenance Kit available please ??.

I am not familiar with a Type F1 fuel selector nor the Cub Coupe. The valve Piper used in most of it's airplanes is covered in this thread.

Appears that Cub Coupe is the "popular" name for the Piper J4A (Continental A65) according to the UK CAA Registration Details.

It is the name for the J-4 in the states also. They just were not built in the quantities of the other popular types. Many flyers have never heard of them.

I have now sourced a Seal/O Ring for the Shaft ,so bought a couple ,onwards & upwards .;-)

The gascolator is below the selector. You could use a Steve's gascolator.
