I built a simple set of wooden wing jacks using threaded rod to run the wings up into place. I only need a friend to help me set the wings on the jacks, then can do the rest by myself. No more of that nonsense of having people holding the wings while you try to align and insert the bolts.
You don't need threaded adjusters, just clamp 2x4s to the verticals. Easy, instant adjustment. With overlength 2x4s just get your shoulder under one end and loosen the clamp. See EAA "coke stand" method.
