What was the age and score on that ram?
Took me 19 years to draw WY, probably won’t live long enough to draw MT.
Nice job!

This Ram was 10 years old and was 41" with 17 3/8 " we did not have him officiley measured but he will be in the 190s we took 2 others with 17' base this is what makes thease Montana rams score so well .
Very Nice, have been fortunate that all 5 of my rams have been very good sheep, just never had a true monster like that. Congrats!

Deer season was not as good to us as in years past. Three hard winters have been tougher on the deer than the elk. We’re hoping this winter gives us a break.
I shot this smaller whitey at the end of the season with a .338 Federal and 210 Partitions. And here he is being turned in to jerky.
My son and I met some Alaska friends for a Kodiak Blacktail hunt and we shot a few.

Only trail up a 1000’ cliff for many miles both ways. So it’s a wild life highway. In one month I got a picture of a lion, bob cat, mule deer, white tail deer, elk, big horn sheep and coyotes. This is a corner of Nebraska that people don’t know exists!
Just closed the freezer’s with the winter taken care of, 257lbs of boned out Moose. Just the right size, any bigger I would have been buying another freezer.

Oh I know it exists all right ! , have flown over it many times always think I need to get back and "really"
see it , not just fly over it .

Hey Doug.
If you see a yellow cub looking thingy (not Piper) with invasion stripes on it, don't shoot, it might be me. That is if you can stand a visit from WY. I have friends in Harrison and sure wish they still had the airstrip there. Maybe see you this summer, if only to say hi and rest my arse on the way to visit Hay Springs.
Mike
Mike you’re welcome anytime. I used to land on the road north of Harrison when I flew to town to get parts. Give me a call and I’ll tell you where my runway is

Congratulations hope you will end the season like this as well, I have started mine as well with Matrix GRZ 2 crossbow and hoping for the best.
Small world. Im down in that country every summer. Im flying a little lower than i prefer though. I pick up a load of hay for the horses from a fellow between Lyman and Henry. Good hay down there!
If you ever get down here and need something let me know. Or just stop but and visit

Just reading thru this post and saw this. On my winter farm we had trouble giving away the hay. I found a farmer that agreed to take it for free, 83 round bales first cut, this year should be close to 200 round. I know one fellow that had to pay a guy to cut his hay and take it away.too bad it’s to far away , when I saw the shortages last year.
