Hi everyone,

looking for someone running a sensenich 74dm6-0-56 on there super cub 150. I am only getting maybe 2500 rpm out of mine at level full throttle flight. Just talked with sensenich and he said that did not sound right to him. Is anyone getting more rpm out of theres?

Thank you!

Running that motor-prop combo on my PA-12. 2500RPM on takeoff. Normally max’d out around 2600 RPM WOT level flight at 1000MSL.

From memory, with the 56" pitch prop, 2500 rpm is 75% at sea-level-ish, like 1000 ft. They get along with that prop; 115 mph at 2500.

Andrew.

This is for a 74 56, was supplied with my SC from the factory.

Been to long since I ran the Sensenich on my 150 hp. I am breaking in my 160 and it runs 2650 on take off with two different 56" props and shakes more than my Borer. Burns about a gallon to a gallon and a half more fuel per hour and is 5-8 mph faster than my Borer. Can't wait to get these cylinders broken in and my Borer back on my Super Cub.
