Has anyone put those on a Cessna 120?
my AI/A&P is requiring that I obtain a copy front and back of an approved 337 before I can have them installed and him doing a new 337 on them.
please Help, I really want to get them on.

your plane is an OLD CAR 3 or CAR 03 certified plane...

search for it... should meet the tire requirements... it was very broad

I can’t supply you the specifics, but I did see a C-140 patroller at SQL two years ago with them. It looked good. Let me see if I can find the pic.

The 4 ply ones are nice tires! Happy with them on our cub. Not a full blown tundra tire, but pretty good and without much weight penalty. Maybe the folks at Desser could assist you.

Install them IAW Car (whatever) and the TSO, there is a tundra tire worksheet at the FAA somewhere, you may call the anchorage FSDO and ask them for a copy, it gives you a bunch of items to check off for the installation.

FWIW I believe that 4ply 800x4 tires are approved on the TCDS.
I believe that they are approved on the C120/140 TCDS.
Not 850's but maybe the next best thing.
