I'm planning to escape NH16 when the weather allows and try to figure out where people might be. Sounds like Springfield will have grass, gliders, food and at least a few people. Keene will have pavement and food.

I plan to be heading over in the morning as well but that somewhat dependent on how much sleep I get tonight as I am scurrying to get some boats put away to make room for more coming in.
Probably shouldn’t be posting while I do this...

Looking like I can sneak away on Friday for lunch. Will either load the lawyer in the back, or make him fly that poor lonley yellow thing. We have quite a few items on the agenda so I will probably put him in the rear office
i have someone new I’m also bringing, a friend of Peters from Jupiter FL. I think she will fit right in

The weather is looking pretty VFR on Thursday. I’m ready for lunch at Springfield KVSF for who ever shows up. After 2pm I’ll jump in the airplane and head to WAD. All in all the forecast is looking better for the weekend.

I’ll see some of you tomorrow at KVSF.

There will be 3 airplanes and 5 people from the WAD heading your way about 11-11:30am.
    See you then.

Changed venues Jim to a restaurant just outside the airport. My look at all the weather makes me think we will be close to noon 1PM. Can young Andy come?

Bill is being extremely gracious so please if possible make KVSF your stop if you arrive before 2PM.

Oh she’s a good friend, beautiful with smooth curves and if I do dare so, stacked with a gorgeous smile. My kind of woman!

    WAD 2019 It is Time

Steady 33 gusting to 55 at my house. Rain, an Alaskan mile viz with a 700 foot ceiling. Rain delay.

Winds calm, 12,000 ceiling at the WAD. What a difference 150 miles make.

See you all Friday pm or Saturday. Or whenever the wind drops below 30.

Sounds too windy for the Husky and 180, you better take your Cub.

Don’t have a plan set, but in rough draft northern Vt, Champlain south, then back east to the WAD.

If fast enough can go pretty far south as well.
I’ll email you some of the plans.

Those of us that have been privedged to be a part of the WAD Flyin over the years have had a chance to be apart of a life changing flying experience. Not only the awesomeness of the NE in all it color and natural
rugged beauty but all the great relationships that have been made at a small piece of heaven in a little town in Northern New Hampshire. All made possible by a great couple who invited us to discover their playground. They not only take care of their flying friends but are making sure their lovely little town of Wentworth survives into the future, a great neighbor to all.

Thanks John and Jen, the trip has been amazing

Looks like the event was spectacular this year, curious to see what direction this group goes to continue the energy and camaraderie that John brought together over the years. And Peter, that production to my eyes and ears was the best event coverage I have seen. Thank you for this. Makes me truly wish I had my plane together to join in the fun.
