Just wanted to post pic of new-to-me supercub 160. I’m ecstatic to have this plane! I’ve been out of aviation for 15 years in order to subsidize my son’s aviation career; now that he has finally made captain, I am getting back into aviation.

Plane was built new 350 hours ago from the ground up, including new Lycoming 160hp. 26”x10” tires, double puck brakes, safety wires, 2000 gross weight and 1135 empty, 61 gallon fuel tanks (which I’ll never fill up), vgs, numerous other mods.

Sweet ride.

Trust me, you will fill those tanks. Not every time, but you will find a reason.

Congrats on the new purchase. Always nice to have more fuel tankage than you think you'll need. You're gonna love it!
