I don’t care how much he invests, in time, money, or parts swapping.

But if you think this man doesn’t push aviation, both those currently in it, and those that might be interested, than you stand in difference to my opinion.

I don’t want to throw out meaningless fanboy comments, but Mike and his brother just may be our generation’s Burt Rutan. Pushing limits in concept, on paper, in fabrication, and in reality.

Experimental aviation has never been in a better place.

Comparing a few modified existing designs to Rutan's cutting edge, clean sheet designs is a bit much.

The December 2004 issue of Sport Aviation has a Helio converted to turboprop, modified wings, lots of O2, long travel trailing link gear, big tires, extended fuel etc. Sound familiar?
