Nothing but the best time when one goes to a Maine BushWacker Fly In. As always Jim, Brenda, and the rest of the gang make it simply a no-miss event. Hospitality is second to none, and their generosity overcomes you.

I didn't get the great photos I was hoping for, but I'll throw some in a slideshow and share it with you all.

Maine Bushwackers/Make a Wish Fly in

As Tom Ford likes to say, watching Capt’n Cub fly is what he loves most about aviation.
Some days, flying with all of these guys is just as inspiring.

A quick hodgepodge of photos I took.

Peter, thanks for putting that video together. Having not been able to attend any of Jim's flyins it was great to see not only the beautiful scenery that you folks enjoy, but also to have you capture Jim's spirit by recording his address to those who attended. I remain so honored and delighted to be a part of this group of wonderful people who just happen to be aviators. Thanks, again, Peter.

Sounds like it's high time you did Randy. You've got 11 months to plan for it now.

Brenda and I are humbled and honored to call all of you friends. I stood back by myself a couple of times this weekend and just watched. Everyone who came and participated took this gathering to heart as their own.
We were able to find a couple more guys to call into this group. Really quality men, with more flying talent and hours and stories that I will just dream about. Welcome home Bob and Dodd
Started next years plans already, stay tuned
I think this pix sums it up for all of us, its cubs and flying and family, and friends, getting together just because. Thats worth the most in my book
I shamelessly stole this pix from JP..

    Dodd,
Start looking for a second plane you like, judging by the smiles when they no longer fit in the back they will be leaving you at home.

Yesterday I got to deliver all of your hard work to the Make a Wish Maine foundation in Portland. We hit the donation level that makes us "high Rollers" so to speak. Gets us the big check and photo
Samantha Elliott came to the airport and met us at the FBO In and out of that beehive makes me super glad I walk across the lawn to fly, and dont have to deal with Charlie airspace just to putt around.
While I was busy with Samantha Brenda traded the Cub for the Phenom in the background. Something about the heater working and a real back seat. Really nice ride though
Make a wish has taken in some online donations, so It pushes the Total close to $11K donation from our Group. My hat is off and totaly honored to represent the generosity of all my SuperCub.org donors, and the people of my home town.
