So I haven't seen a lot of NH post activity this time around (other than some quasi-salty banter about how fast bushwheels wear out)...who the heck is going this year? I'm looking forward to seeing old friends and having a few relaxing days off. It's been a busy couple months and looking forward to kicking back. Who all is going? We'll be arriving Friday AM as of now and departing Monday AM. Looking forward to it.

Looking at either a late Friday arrival or mid-day Saturday, departing Tuesday. Most likely will be in the 180.

That's a great camera angle - how did you mount the camera?

Believe it or not, just a crappy gopro stick-on mount. I have plastic droop tips so it sticks well to that.

Well here we sit, in the FBO as a severe TRW rolls thru NH. There are 10 of us that abandoned our tents for shelter here. The rest chose to ride it out in their tents and campers. Should be thru in the next 2 hrs. Then we will see what damage is done. Stay tuned.....

As if last night wasn’t enough, we had an even stronger line move thru today with more to come!
My tent collapsed and made a good swimming pool. A trip to the laundromat and I’ll be back in business!

Lou, I remember a few years ago when a storm came through and sent us all to the laundry mat. Eddie and I slept in a home that some real estate person had on the market! This weather thing is making Eddie feel a little bit better since he decided he couldn't come up this year because of all of the problems he has because of this hot weather...and other projects he has taken on! Hope the weather improves and you all have a great time!

I thought NH was going to be a giant flop for us this year, with all the heat, then the incessant storms...especially since our stay was relatively short. We had a fantastic time! Thank you to the group for continually welcoming our not-so-Super Cub into the group (and to the unknown voice that referred to my plane as the "cute little silver plane" on the CTAF as I re-entered the Young Eagles parking area, I decided to take that as a compliment ). Jim and I had a great time catching up with everyone especially since we missed last year, and I enjoyed meeting some new faces as well. I thoroughly enjoyed Airport Day and flying Young Eagles and a young girl for the flower drop! I may never be a STOL competitor or a "cool kid" but I sure enjoy this group and the relaxing, (usually) cool days at NH. Thank you to everyone for putting on a first rate event!! A special thanks to Perry Welch for doing so much to help out with the event, I feel he's kind of an unsung hero and he was ALL OVER the place on Sunday making sure things went smoothly!

Hi Guys, just wanted to say a BIG thank you for all of your hospitality at Holstein this year, although we flew in with the RV everyone was very welcoming. We loved it! I sold the cub the day before we arrived but now maybe i wish I didn't. Ill get something else, but wanted to say thank you and we will see you next year i hope!!
