    FS: NorthStar Experimental

    SOLD...

Selling for the family as the owner / builder recently “flew west”

This aircraft has a total of 128.6 hours since completion... But has accident history... last Condition inspection was 2016 and has been sitting in the hanger since.. 0-360 with constant speed prop.. set up for floats and there is a uncompleted set of Montana Experimental amphibious floats available separate from the aircraft sale...

    Accident history..

First- right Landing gear collapsed taxing onto the runway for takeoff during the turn... no prop strike, rebuilt right wing.. new Super Cub style gear custom made by Airframes Inc Lee Budie (Before Lee sold the company) installed

Second- Got off the side of a runway and did a slow ground loop.. no prop strike.. aircraft flown back to home airport.. inspection reveled bent rear spar, rebuilt right wing a second time..

Third- taxied into a ditch, prop strike, prop rebuilt and Lycoming AD inspection completed.

Forth and final- landed on a access road that had pothole big enough to swallow a Volkswagen... airplane wound up nose first into a fresh water irrigation canal... belly fabric repaired, right wing rebuilt again, prop overhauled (pretty sure hub was replaced) and Lycoming AD inspection completed...

    $55,000 OBO

Brian, Iím curious about some things on his panel. Can you get a closer picture of the labels on the cluster of knobs to the left? Also, what kind of EGT/CHT gauge is that?

Looks like a neat plane for sure.

I don't have a picture but know what everything is...

The black and blue knobs by the door are throttle and prop..
Panel knobs from left to right... Park brake, Mixture, Carb Heat, Cabin Heat
The red knob below and center of the mixture and carb heat is oil cooler door

    FS: NorthStar Experimental

Just re reading this... the airplane has sold... the weird reading on the manifold gauge is because it is an electronic one...
