Hello,
I have met a PA18 150 hp being restored in an aeronautical workshop here in Italy.
Inhave been told it’s a three seater with some 180 lb capacity in the luggage space. The square cross member behind the back sest can be removed and a seat placed behind. The luggage space is further extended rear in the fuselage.
How can this be a PA18 ? What modifications have been inttoduced?
A. Different wing fitting angle?
B. Different wing centre position?
How would CoG be affected by such overload?
Thanks for commenting.
P. S. I am quite doubtful of this “gadget”
