    Belly and side stringer question

Greetings, I am using wooden stringers on my l-21 project. My question is should I use friction tape between the tubing and the stringer. I’m thinking yes at this point. IMG_9890.JPG as you can see they are a mushroom shape and not the conventional slab piper style and will be safety wired in.

I use whatever adhesive being used on the covering to keep the tape from getting loose with age. Just brush a little on the end of the wrap.
......... It doesn't cost any more to go first class! You just can't stay as long.
