Yeah the GPS rollover is a problem for some aircraft. It’s Y2K all over again. Our jet has universal FMS is that are supposedly going to lose Approach capability. However most GPS that I’ve come across are going to be ok (gns and kln are ok).

Funny, I used to work with a guy (and yes just for Eddie, he's an Engineer) who ended up having to eat on his supply of Y2K rice and beans for a couple/three years to make ends meet after what he spent getting ready for that little non-event. He was aghast that I didn't bunker up and I quietly told him, "you remember that Saturday when I showed you how to load and fire your AR... yea, I'm not to worried."![]()
