    Carb Air Box

Does anyone have a carb air box p/no 14253-05 for sale to fit 18-5805, or know anyone who makes them. I have a new lower cowl and the later air box but they don’t fit together

    cheers Bill

Sorry for the confusion, I posted this when I was in a hurry to go to work this morning.
    I have 1957 Super Cub s/no 18-5805 under rebuild.
I have on hand the bottom cowl, p/no 13769-05 which is correct for the s/no of the aircraft.
I have on hand the carb air box p/no 15005-00 which is for aircraft 18-6964 and up.
I need the carb air box p/no 14253-05 which is not listed on the Univair website, but is on the Aircraft Spruce website from Usher, which is not 'FAA Approved' apparently, and from feedback on the Spruce website has quality control issues.
I am therefore looking for new or used a carb air box p/no 14253-05.
Photos are of the bottom cowl that is standard for my aircraft, the incorrect carb air box, and the correct carb air box.

There is a guy on the J-3 site that is selling one. It needs the lower tube welded on - not a big deal. Check the price of new before spending big bucks for used.

Thanks Mike, so just confirming that I need the inner scoop, p/no U15010 and outside scoop p/no U15009. And the mod would be covered by the PMA?

Someone might confirm that location of the cutout in yours will get covered by new pieces. Let me go take a picture of a round one
