Last one then I'm gonna get a real life.

If you replace the fuselage on your A model with one of the new Univair or Airframes Inc or ?? ones, do you do it under STC or ??
I may be wrong but that probably won't stop me from arguing about it.

Brian I'm starting to think you're a fed testing our knowledge, but I'll play along because my Feds here that are only 5 miles from me are good to work with.

Univairs fuslage STC lists the A-model on it and is no problem to use Airframes STC does not list the A-model and one has to get a field approval to use ( not real hard to do at least here)

If you get the FAA/PMA model you could do it with a log book entry if you got a model change at the same time.

Yea, that's kinda what I was wondering, If you don't do an STC, seems to me it would be a model change

HAHA, well kinda fed testing me too !! Hate to see the old ways disappear because nobody knows you can do it that way.

I don't know how much time I've spent trying to convince people you can actually switch the aircraft between Type Certificates, not just models in the same Type Certificate and then dga just up and did one. And thats awesome !!
