Staying alive in an airplane has a lot more to do with mastering ourselves than mastering the aircraft.

Placard used to be standard issue in 135 ops in S.E. Comma would auto-insert if you did

My last two aircraft have had these on the panel, from rooftop tv antennas. The last two lines especially.
What's a go-around?
A lot of the Cubs around here have something similar.

I think the placard in front of the pilot should say "don't do anything stupid",
the one in front of the passenger should say "don't do anything, stupid".
I had one in my last airplane that said "sit down, shut up, and don't touch anything".

I always liked "when all else fails, fly the airplane" I once had this in mine "There is not a fish or animal worth the price of this airplane"
The Air Force Method.
1. Maintain aircraft control
2. Analyze the situation and take proper action
3. Land as soon as conditions permit.
When in doubt refer to step #1!
