Foam Gap Seal Kit for Pa-18

    HI,

Is any body running the Foam Gap Seal Kit from CC? I have heard some people say it helps with authority when really slow and have also heard they do not do much. Any body with experience using them?

    Thank You,

I feel like they gave me a little more elevator on the low end - which I needed. I have since had the battery moved from the tail back to where Bill Piper intended it and that also helped me a lot.

I don't need to carry any power to have full elevator and rudder authority when landing where I did previously.

I noticed an immediate change in both, more so on my airplane with the elevator than the rudder, but both a definite improvement.

Same here, the biggest perceptible improvement was in elevator authority.
After Monday and Tuesday, even the calendar says WTF !

I not notice any improvement at all but I do have VG's on the tail and usually do full nose up trim when landing without a load.

I have them, along with the stabilizer VG's and I saw an improvement at the low end near the stall.

Under the battery cover right behind the rear bulkhead.
