I’m a CFI and I have about 4000 hours in tailwheel airplanes. I have instructed from the back seat of my Legend when I owned it and in a Super Cub years ago. The last time I flew a PA-12 was probably 45 years ago.
I’m being asked to give tailwheel instruction to a private pilot in his own PA-12. He has little to no conventional gear time. I’m concerned about visibility from the back seat. The Legend was really not a problem but I’m wondering what advice you would have for me regarding the 12. This airplane is stock, no big tires etc.
