How much rpm would you expect to lose on a super cub engin 0-320-A1A with climb prop 74DM6-0-58

What did you have on before for a prop?

That is a cruise prop. A climb prop would have a 54 pitch. A standard (original) pitch would be 56.

50 rpm per inch. 58" is a climb prop on a Pacer or Tri-Pacer. Probably pretty poor climb on a Super Cub.

+ or - 2200ish rpm static with a 58 pitch and you won’t have to worry about your skirt blowing up on TO. (Narrow deck 320 and -12 however)

FWIW the O-320 STC for my old C150TD called for a 74x58 Sensenich.
Too much prop IMHO.
I ended up with a new one, pitched on the strong side of 54.
Much more satisfactory.
As far as climb vs cruise goes,
I'd rather be a few minutes late than a few feet too low at the wrong time on climbout.
