    Throttle knob on the right side of the panel? So much for standardization of controls. That might end up being a sticking point for many buyers. Or maybe it's just me!

    The builder must have been used to a side by side cockpit.

    yea. my dad learned to fly in a luscombe. I tried to talk him out of it but he was just used to it that way. I could put the throttle back on the left hand side if it was a absolute deal breaker.

    I learned to fly in a Clipper with the throttle in my right hand. Transitioning to the Super Cub wasn't a big deal. My Dad had issue with the left throttle in his Vagabond. He ended up changing it.

    Nice Cub!

    Most of my time is in SBS aircraft that have throttle close to the middle of panel. I'm OK either way with LH or RH throttle location.
