$2800 delivered to Valdez.Thanks. I was asking about the shocks. I knew what I meant. [emoji1]
Well I’ll be doggoned. It wasn’t Tac Aero’s conclusion, was there a more recent test to conclude this? You made the right choice! The TK1 shocks are the best and the safest suspension for a Supercub out there as of now.
The reality, plain and simple, is no TKs owner is in a position to comment, UNLESS, they’ve owned and flown BOTH types of suspension, and, not only that fact, but conducted testing in a similar manner in which Tac Aero did. Only then could someone claim “this set is better then that set”. I have Acme Aero suspension which works just great, I’d buy another set in a second, however, I’ve not flown nor laid eyes on TKs, so how could I honestly say “this set is better then that set?”So far I’ve been unable to find a single owner of TKs that can substantiate Tac Aeros claim. I was wondering if they had a bad set up? I’m not refuting anything since I have not flown either.....just curious why all of the TK1 owners I’ve spoken to claim that it is not true what is written in the test. Anyone else out there that has flown both?
I am running the TK-1’s on my Exp 12. They are impressive to say the least and I am very happy thus far. I do not find or experience any of the negatives noted in regards to darting in any capacity...one wheel landing, cross control etc. in fact I find them very stable in all situations to date. They sure suck up the bumps... landed in some pretty rough places, side hill beach landings, one wheel X-wind... inside corner type beaches... no issues.

Tac Aero went to some bother to conduct some testing and they’ve concluded what they’ve concluded. In order to “dispute” their numbers, you’d have to conduct basically the same testing. Who is going to do that?
