Just try to imagine what was happening geologically during some point in time to form that terrain and what happened to the sea levels. Did the seal level go down or did the terrain rise by however many thousand feet above current sea level? I find it fascinating to look at the geological formations in different areas of the globe. Wondering what happened and when? There has been so much change happen over the millions of years. And humans think they have the power to change it.

A year or so ago I made a 100 page Motif photo book of some of my favorite images from flying the Brainerd Lakes Area through 2021. If anyone wants to download it, here's the wetransfer link - it'll be up for a week. https://we.tl/t-Fe6yyJlpcm

Pulled my airplane out the other day to put two customer's airplanes in behind it. After work I was about to pull it back in as I looked at the windsock and decided I just needed to go fly. My middle daughter is keeping the grand babies in the building in front of my hangar while my oldest daughter and her husbands work with me. As my 15 month old grand daughter came out of the hangar and saw me pulling my Super Cub onto my ramp she threw her arms in the air and exclaimed "Yahoo Fly". So we loaded her up and we made a quick trip to the river where she enjoyed throwing rocks in the water. I'm having way too much fun. Can't wait till my 5 month old grand son can go.

Post Covid produce world is still not 'right' but the market's hot for what it is and the recent moisture has had us busy with mildew work.

I've been running both sides of the hill for a bit, and at the end of the week I got tired of coming home in the dark and trying to beat the fog, so I got out in the daylight... Still not great, and oddly enough, better on the way home to start the work on our side of the rocks (by sunset)

Sunday flying. Last couple of Sundays weather has been crap. Today was low 20s, high pressure and low wind. Plane was on rails.

They’ll do everything including waking you up from a nap I think. What they won’t do is run to the beer store for you when your coolers empty

Not a farmer but I suppose it could be as simple as the tractor driver following the existing furrows.

From Genesis: "And God promised men that good and obedient wives would be

Then he made the earth round... and He laughed and laughed and laughed!

Flys good. Lands and takes off short enough. Heavy on the ailerons and sensitive in pitch. Super easy to land and good ground handling characteristics. Has Lycoming 0320A2B wide deck engine. Only 25 gal of gas but they tell me there's a factory aux tank you can put in the baggage. Original owner was the guy that started Flying J truck stops. I was gonna buy it but my wife shot that idea down since I already have 2 airplanes and no job.

Last Sunday was pretty epic on the Brazos, no wing and cool temps. 21 different bars, some I had not been on in many years.
