I got to fly Brian Schanche's 185 (Adventure Seaplanes) on amphibs last week. We made it down to Key West from Winter Haven. I'm in the red shirt next to my brother. Was better than the minus 24 degrees here at home.

    Hey Jesse,
Next time you're bored go over to Spring Creek Tavern on Sarpy Creek and check it out. we need to have a dinner run there sometime.
I may be wrong but that probably won't stop me from arguing about it.

It's an Experimental-Amateur Built Pacer that a friend of mine built as a project and I was lucky enough to buy. His goals were to take an old design and make it more modern and efficient. I think he did a great job - I cruise faster on GY26s than most Pacers do with wheel pants.

Been thinking of something similar. Did a experimental Bushmaster some years ago. Would like to know more about yours. Like most, wish I was younger.

I'm located in the southeast if you're interested in seeing it. It's a beautiful job, but mostly Pacer in nature. The landing gear, cowl, and boot cowl are the biggest differences (pretty big departures from Piper!). The only other thing I can think of off-hand is the flaps reflex a little bit, similar to a Maule.
