"Can I drive to visit or fly to visit another family member in Alaska?

No. This is not considered “essential business.”

None of my business and I'm not the COVID-19 Police, but the State's DHSS guidelines above appear to indicate only essential travel is allowed between communities unless their term "for critical personal needs" applies.

I went up to the 9K ridge line behind my place to say hi to the back country skiers up there. I admire their ability and desire to skin up from the ski area parking lot, at 6800', and work that hard for one run! There were a dozen rigs in the parking lot, more then usual, (the ski area closed 2 weeks ago, due to you know what) it's good to see people finding a way to have fun while still keeping the hell away from each other. .4 hour flight time, logged as "local," but sooo much better then none at all. Normally I would have flown to Alpine or Afton WY for breakfast......

Transportation to and from essential jobs: mining, which is what he does, is considered essential.

Yes, I have registered with the state fro my airpark and plane with a safety plan.

The mine stays on lock-down, so they are in quarantine at work, which makes it really easy.

Thank you for being concerned- taking chances right now is not a good idea.

Took my daughter fishing.

They won't let me fish it, but I still wanted to check out the Grande Ronde where it enters the Snake.

I swear you are going to make me upgrade my damn Iphone. Are you editing those pics at all??? lol. Really nice pics. Love the glass lower door. Too bad Aviat doesn't make one as an option.

Glen did you fly over today? A Cub came over this afternoon. If your in the neighbor hood stop in anytime

Glenn, Are you pulling our legs? I thought you said you just got 14" of snow? :???:

Pete, last Monday morning we had 14" of heavy wet snow, no power and trees broken everywhere. Sun came out by noon and by Tuesday evening it had all melted away except where piled up. Warm sun, air and ground did it in fast.

This was 11pm last Sunday night

I touched a couple of these out of habit, but the more I mess with the i11 the more I realize how natively good it is at color and lighting etc without processing the images. Also, if you get the "Camera2+" app you can shoot in RAW and control the shutter etc. The SLR's get less use nowadays.

I like the glass door, especially when stuck as GIB (guy in back), it really opens up the view.

If there is such a thing, I picked a good day to go to Texas.
