I flew a friend down to a coastal town in my Cherokee 235 to fetch my somewhat modified J-5A and fly it back the 460 nm to Johannesburg. Beautiful weather especially over the Stormberg mountains with 50 mile visibility

I was able to help someone check off a bucket list item. He is fighting stage 4 pancreatic cancer. He is an ultralight pilot and remote control flyer. He always wanted a ride in a J3. We are going to try to get a seaplane flight in for him as well.
