Compression on narrow deck with chrome cylinders

Does anyone have any experience with running anything above 8.5:1 on a o-320 narrow deck with chrome cylinders?

What type of chrome is on your cylinders?

Believe they are channel chrome.

Are these cylinders broke-in and oil consumption stabilized? If they are, you'll want to leave them as they are. Also on the narrow deck, Lycoming requires the cylinder base plate doubler, for going high compression. If your engine is not using them already, you will need longer thru-bolts and cylinder base studs to accommodate the doubler or kidney plates. You can do a search on here for doing this conversion.
