Hey all,
With the negative press from AOPA on Yakutat, I am asking for help letting the aviation world know that the Situk Fly Shop now has 100LL, Jet-A and friendly service available in Yakutat!!! (And all your fly-fishing needs believe it or not).
Owners Bob and Teen have been working hard to put in a fuel facility for the last couple of years, and I was told last night by a very reliable source that they are open, and it is first class! Their prices are also less then Juneau, so consider it for a fuel stop.

Phone: (907) 784-3087
Need something special? Call and they will help. Going through at 0-dark thirty? call ahead and Bob will make sure you are taken care of... I have been the beneficiary of their service in the past!!
For history buffs, their hanger is a must see: the original WWII Yakutat Hanger, including a fledgling museum with one of the original C-47s with bullet hole repairs from Africa and the Normandy Invasion.

The 'other' fuel company was not helpful except they had fuel, so Yak has bad press, but please give Bob a shout!
Maybe on the way to the airman's show a group might want to stop in for some steelhead fishing...
