Will be in a new carbon cub next summer in Kenai, AK. Anyone know of a good Alaska bush flying school I could attend in May/June next year. Could do somewhere else if AK not available. Thanks
I instruct for Alaska Cub Training Specialists in Wasilla. We do a tailored course for off airport ops, mountain flying, and threat based survival flight training. We can do the instruction in one of our five Super Cubs at the school or in your Carbon Cub. Email me at bobbybreeden46@gmail.com

Bobby gave me the demo In my Cub with me in the back. During my rather long aviation career, I have run into a handful of young sticks who "have the gift."
Bobby is one of those. He is also a courteous, polite, young man.
Bush training? For a new pilot or an experienced pilot? Experienced in type? In any case, find an instructor and spend a few hours. There are lots of good ones. Respect his advice regarding your limits. Go fly some solo hours. See what you're comfortable with and what you aren't. Get more training to address those issues. Repeat over and over for a lifetime. Good pilots get training, too. Learning judgement about wind and weather takes time and experience. It can't be taught in school. There's no way around that.
