    Looks like the gear is down in some pics. Extended the gear in water to try and pull up onto beach?

    3/4 sink a couple boats and put them under wings just outboard of struts, build scaffold up to wing spars, pump out boats... or those big float bladders?? thick plywood under/shaped to wing/spars... lift and pump out like crazy..... then Zspar?(underwater epoxy putty) a patch(plywood or aluminum or anything) on from the at outside the source leak

    I originally noticed this tragic event due to owning a place near Pensacola (Gul Breeze area) and my in-laws sent me the news link. The beggining of this event was bad enough to see but the updated salvage effort is worse. Heartwrenching to see another one of these old warbirds damaged. Hope that someone will be able to rebuild it. Being submerged in salt water sure isn't going to help.
