Those prices reflect what it should be. I keep hoping for $40 a barrel crude to make my move but some "experts" say even that will look high. On the 100LL, people that are paying a lot more should look into getting a rail car or semi tanker load delivered to their area.

Wow! I thought our $3.99/gal. price in Chino, CA was smokin' hot. Now we can actually fly somewhere for $100.

In Cottonwood AZ we have $4.44 gal for 100LL. I understand it is even cheaper down in Phoenix area.

Have been flying a Carbon Cub from Yakima down to Florida past few days. Eight stops so far. Highest in the $5.50-ish, lowest was today in Meridian, MS at $4.26...and still trending downward in coming weeks say FBO folks.

I checked last week at what is normally the best place to get 100ll. It was at $4.83. Not even close to bottoming out! I've paid much less with much higher oil prices. When it does bottom, I'm gonna start fillin 55 gallon drums!!!

    Clay,

Meridian is a favorite stop when going to and from Florida. Reasonable prices, great hospitality with free waffles, hotdogs, ice cream and popcorn and on Friday's it's FREE Pizza!

Just remember folks, some of these little airports take a long time to empty those big tanks of the "expensive stuff", and they don't want to lower the price until they buy a new batch.

Support the little airports. They have a considerable amount of their cash tied up in the gasoline in the tank. They NEED your business.

Just for comparison the current price at KBOS for 100LL is $9.30. That is $4.73 MORE than the next nearest airport KOWD. I don't know why anyone would intentionally buy 100LL at KBOS? I'll stop, this could easily go to R&R.

I last bought 100LL on New Years Day at GPI - Kalispell and it was $6.25 a gallon. I couldn't tell how much it was when I bought it because the price isn't posted and the little paper receipt on the self serve pump wouldn't print in the zero degree temperature. I checked my credit card account later online and realized how expensive it still is there.

We just got a new load yesterday. Waiting for the airport owner to get back from a skiing trip and change the price.

Suburban Propane out of Anchorage used to be the cheapest place to get 100LL, and always by a considerable amount. They monitored pricing on a daily basis and would change the price, higher or lower, regardless of when they filled their tanks. So I called them this afternoon to inquire about 100LL and was told it's at $5.11!!! I was amazed and commented that it should be dropping soon, don't you think??? Told me that Crowley bought all the 100LL in Alaska and now they only change pricing when they refill their tank. No problem, I'll give Crowley a call. They told me $4.77!! My question was the same, "shouldn't it start dropping soon?" Her response was, "you should have bought it yesterday, it was at $4.63....... Geez, give me a break!!!!

According to Skyvector this eve, it's $8.43 at KSEA (SeaTac), and $3.92 at KCLS (Chehalis). They are less than an hour apart by Cub. Everywhere else in the area is close to $6.

At SEA that's not a fuel price it's a keep out sign... as much as a I travel in my 180 I'm seeing more and more of that "pistons stay stay away" attitude.
