Double groove trim on PA-12 -front pulley location

Must it specifically be the Aircraft Spruce one? When I was researching this, there were plenty of suppliers for that spec of pin.

I can’t find anybody that carries it. It’s an AN part number and has an MS equivalent but I can’t find it. If someone can point the way I’ll go there, but haven’t found one yet.

I bought mine from Boneham and Turner who specialise in this stuff. I bought a couple of lengths so I had some flexibility in final fit. I also bought a couple in each length in case I screwed up with drilling the pulley locking pin hole :roll: - (I didn't!!)

They have a US office too and I’ve attached pics of their contact details and the part numbers I ordered. I hope this will help you




Stop Press: I had a look at the links just now and the US site wasn't working, but the UK one is and there's plenty of stock of the 1.5" and 1.75" versions


Maybe the US site just has a temporary problem, but I'm sure the UK contact details will be a starting point. I found them really helpful to work with

I appreciate that Philly. Can’t seem to get the US site to work either. I’ll keep on the search. Anybody have the part number for the longer pin that could be trimmed and drilled?

Glad to help and get you on the path This is the email for Boneham's UK sales sales@boneham.co.uk drop them a line, no need to keep on the search as they've got plenty of the pins in stock and unless the US operation has shutdown, I'm sure they can hook you up with them

Looks like you'll be cutting to length and drilling 2 holes
