Yesterday, at the Tulsa Regional Fly-in, Ed Doyle won the short field take-off and short field landing events. No big surprise. The shocking news is that the PA announcer said that Ed won $200 for his efforts! Does this mean he is bringing steak dinners for everyone at OK18? (ok, that is wishful thinking on my part). Regardless, Ed won....again. Congratulation!
Well let's see, he had a T6, a Beech 18 and a Stearman for competition.
And was flying a Bell 47 dressed to look like a cub?
