Some of the good things

Spring is having a real hard time getting here. When it does, the bottom will fall out back in the woods. Been cutting all the firewood I can get on days off with a $25 state permit. Harvesting left over logging tops I scouted from the air. Getting in there is the only issue. Quite a ways back yonder. A Cornucopia of Tamarack, Ash, and Birch to be had. Some little helpers showed up in a pretty little Pacer. Jack was part of the crew as always. Fed the deer. Children, dogs, brisk exercise, and airplanes are really some of the finer things in life.

We are looking for some sign of spring over here also with 11 inches of snow last Sunday and Monday. Forecast is more starting tonight.
Last year the cold weather crops were up in the garden by now and we had mowed the yard twice.
This year we can't find the garden, and we have not seen the yard in 5 months. ----LOL
