Got to give that pilot credit, he figured out where his mistakes were, and admitted to them.

So glad there weren't more serious injuries and I am truly grateful he chose to post this for others to learn from. I can tell you after I saw it I made damn sure I paid attention when my ground school instructor talked about density altitude and the various affects on it
